Seminar on "Climate Change & Carbon" on February 14, 2010

14th February 2010……Kejriwal Institute of Management and Development Studies (KIMDS) made ‘Nature’ its Valentine by organizing a seminar on the topic ”Climate Change & Carbon Economics”.
Mrs. Mridula Sinha, IAS, Secretary HRD, Govt of Jharkhand honoured us by being the Chief Guest for the Function.
Mr. L. B. Khiangte, IAS, Secretary Welfare, Govt. of Jharkhand was invited as Guest of Honour for the function.
The function started with lighting of Lamp by all guests followed by welcome song presented by children of Upgraded Middle School, Kochbang (The school adopted by KIMDS). Soon after this the Chairman (KIMDS) hosted the guests with great pleasure and declared the seminar open.

The main Speakers for the function were:

The speakers finally concluded that “Everyone generally talks about development and growth. But more important is Sustainable Development. Sustainable Development means development which is not limited for a time. Due to unsustainable growth in the past, our Earth is witnessing great crisis like Global Warming. If these issues are not addressed properly, then our future generations will have to pay the price of our growth. We also believe that knowledge based society will create opportunities and will also help to overcome the challenges…”

Mr. Amritanshu Prasad chief of personal HR & IR Electro steel shared his experience of industrial role in “Carbon Economics”.
The function ended with Miss Shweta Tiwary presenting vote of thanks.
